It is the mission of The Education Foundation of South Brunswick Township, Inc., a (501)(c)(3) non-profit corporation, to promote and provide educational support and opportunities through innovative programs and projects. Spark of Innovation Grants The Spark of Innovation Grant Program assists teachers and their students in creating new opportunities for teaching and learning not funded through the normal school budget process.  The continuing goal of this program is to spark innovation in our schools and to give teachers an opportunity to put their creative ideas to work in the classroom.  Since 2011, the Foundation has provided $90,696 in Mini and Collaborative grants to teachers in the South Brunswick School District.Click Here for More Information & Recipients
Physical Education Grants Since 2014, through its Tour de South Brunswick and Foundation Fun Walk fundraising events, the Foundation has granted $8,387 to the physical education programs at various schools in the South Brunswick School District.More...    The Foundation has also granted $650 to the H.S. Joanne Kerekes Arts Grants Established in 2016, in recognition of Joanne Kerekes’ contributions to our district the Joanne Kerekes Arts (JKA) Grant is annually awarded for a project, program, study, or initiative that promotes collaboration, inspiration, creativity, inquiry, integration of the arts and/or innovative use of technology related to the arts, literature and/or the humanities.  To date a total of $3000 has been distributed through the JKA Grant.More...
Athletic Fund Grants The Foundation has made a grant totaling $2,500 from its Arts and Athletics Fund.  This grant was presented to the South Brunswick High School Athletics Department.  The S.B.H.S. Athletic Department is responsible for all the athletic programs in the District including high school and middle school sports.More...
