The Ed. Foundation Board of Trustees
The Education Foundation of South Brunswick Township's Board of Trustees is made up of community volunteers, who give their time and talents to support the mission of the Ed. Foundation, to promote and provide educational support and opportunities through innovative programs and projects.

Chris Greco believes serving as a South Brunswick Education Foundation Board Trustee is "a rewarding way to contribute to improving our community. It has provided an opportunity to support a mission I believe in while working with committed members of our community and school district."

Since joining the Board in 2010, Chris has served on nearly every committee and as Secretary since 2011. Chris explains his passion for serving as a trustee, "the Foundation meets an important need in our community by providing classroom grants for innovative learning experiences as well as scholarships for students advancing their post-high school education."

He and his wife Rose married and moved to Monmouth Junction in 1983 and rasied their two children, Chris, Jr. (2006 SBHS graduate) and Stephanie (2009 SBHS graduate). Chris has also served as a coach in South Brunswick's travel and recreation baseball programs as well as a rec. basketball coach and instructor. Both his children live in South Brunswick and his youngest is a teacher in the South Brunswick School District. In his spare time he enjoys gardening, baking, cooking, walking with Rose and of course his family.

Bobbi Binder, Treasurer Joined On:  December 4, 2013
Current Term:  December 2022 - December 2025

Bobbi Binder joined the Education Foundation as a committee member to work on the first bike ride in 2011. As an avid cyclist, Bobbi was excited to get an event started from the ground up. Shortly thereafter, she joined the board as a trustee. Bobbi served as Vice President for a few years and currently is the treasurer. Bobbi has worked on most of the committees that form as part of the Education Foundation including the Taste for Education, The Murder Mystery dessert, The Spelling Bee and the Grant Committee.

"Being on the board for the Education Foundation has allowed me to meet people older and younger than myself, from different backgrounds and a diverse range of careers. Being able to give back to the community through the Ed Foundation is very fulfilling. I often get the chance to make presentations about what the Ed Foundation is up to by attending South Brunswick Board of Ed meetings. It’s actually quite a lot of fun to do that, especially when I get to be creative in the presentation."

Bobbi and her husband have lived in South Brunswick since 1988. They have 3 grown children who all have gone through the SB school system.

"One of my favorite things from years ago was listening to teachers explain how the money they were awarded through our grant program was used in their classroom."

Azra Baig, Trustee Joined On:  December 10, 2019

Azra Baig has served as an Education Foundation of South Brunswick Trustee since January 2020 and has been a supporter of the Foundation’s goals and efforts for many years participating in the Taste for Education, Murder Mystery and Fun Walk events. She served on the South Brunswick Board of Education for six years and is grateful to be able to continue to make a positive impact on the education of children by supporting the school district’s students, teachers and community.

Azra lives with her husband, has two daughters who graduated from SBHS and enjoys her sweet cat. When not working at the NJ Department of Health or volunteering with the various organizations she is part of, she enjoys walking/running, taking pictures, dining out and traveling.

Caroline Guirguis, Trustee Joined On:  December 8, 2020
Current Term:  December 2023 - December 2026

Caroline Guirguis has served on the Education Foundation of South Brunswick since December of 2020. She currently serves on the scholarship and various event committees. Serving on the Foundation has "allowed me to be part of a group of people that serve and support our district and school community." Caroline believes in the value of community and education and the importance of engaging in a meaningful way. She approaches all experiences as a lifelong learner and through the lens of servant leadership.

Caroline and her husband have two elementary aged daughters in the South Brunswick School District. Caroline is an Academic Coach at the Rutgers University New Brunswick Learning Centers. Previously she worked for the Academic Foundations Center at Rutgers Newark which provides pre-college and college retention programming. Caroline has a Master’s in Public Policy, with a concentration in education, as well as experience in elementary and higher education.

Dana Miller, Trustee Joined On:  April 6, 2016
Current Term:  April 2022 - April 2025

Dana Miller has served as a trustee on the Education Foundation Board since April 2016.

She is currently serving as the Spark of Innovation Grant Committee Chair as well as a member of the Scholarship Committee. "Being able to support our staff and students with the funding of creative and imaginative projects is the highlight of my experience with the Ed Foundation. I am always amazed and inspired by the staff’s ability to think outside the box in order to bring new programs into their classrooms."

Dana has been a part of Constable Elementary School family for the last 18 years. In that time, she has had the pleasure of being a Constable parent, PTO Executive Board Vice President and President, and full-time substitute teacher for the last 14 years. She also spent her time volunteering for the Booster Clubs of both the South Brunswick High School Boy's Lacrosse Team and Dance Team. Dana and her husband, Mark, have resided in South Brunswick for 25 years and are proud to have raised their children in such a welcoming, caring community.

Deven M. Patel, Trustee Joined On:  February 14, 2022
Current Term:  February 2022 - February 2025

Deven M. Patel joined the Education Foundation of South Brunswick board in 2022 with a passion to support an organization that "understands the importance of empowering our students, teachers, and community." Deven was South Brunswick School District board member for 10 years. He is patinated about children future and truly believe in saying that "it takes a village to raise a child". He is known for the passion to serve the community.

In addition to trustee for Education Foundation of South Brunswick, Deven is committee member for Park and Recreation committee, Historic Preservation Committee, and Open Space Committee for the South Brunswick Township. He is employed at the New Jersey Department of Transportation as a Project Management Specialist 3.

Deven lives with his wife, Sonal, their triplets Vinita, Vivek, and Viresh. He is a soccer fan and coached for South Brunswick Soccer Club for 6 years. Deven and his wife are active members within the South Brunswick community, riding bikes, walking, and visit different parks.

Sabuha Qureshi-Din, Trustee Joined On:  December 6, 2016

Sabuha Qureshi-Din has served as The Education Foundation of South Brunswick Trustee since December 2016! She currently serves as the chairperson for the Taste For Education event and helps on various fundraising initiatives. The Education Foundation of South Brunswick has allowed me to be a part of a group of people that is able to give back to the dedicated teachers and staff.

She and her husband Naeem have twin sons, Iman and Zakaria who are SBHS Class of 2019 graduates. Both are studying at Rutgers University. Sabuha is a local Realtor at Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate/Maturo as well as a Coordinator for a non-profit, SKN Foundation. Sabuha in the past has worked as a licensed Pharmacist and is a graduate of St. John's University, NY. When her boys were younger until they graduated out of the school system, Sabuha was highly involved. She served as PTO President for Greenbrook Elementary School, Crossroads Middle Schools, and South Brunswick High School.

"I have always been involved with the South Brunswick School District in some way. As a class parent, PTO President, Marching Band Parent volunteer, I spent so many days in the schools seeing all of the innovative ways the teachers use to help our children learn, and grow, it was amazing to then be on the side that helps them go that extra step to create an extraordinary experience for students. I am grateful to be able to give back to the community."
