Drizzle Doesn't Dampen Spirits at the Tour de S. Brunswick and Fun Walk.

Well it was bound to happen. After seven years of beautiful weather for the Education Foundation's annual Tour de South Brunswick, it rained. But desite the clouds and drizzle the rides went off without a problem and once again the event was a great success!

The Education Foundation of South Brunswick Township, Inc., would like to thank all of our volunteers, sponsors and of course the 682 riders for the 2018 Tour de South Brunswick and the 212 walkers in the Foundation Fun Walk!

The Foundation raised over $5,800 to provide grants through-out the school district, including $1,500 going to the TdSB/FFW Participation Challenge grants.

This year's TdSB/FFW Participation Challenge grant recipient schools are:

Constable Elementary Participation Grant: $300
Highest Percentage of Participants Bonus: $300
Cambridge Elementary Participation Grant: $250
Highest Number of Participants Bonus: $300
Monmouth Jct. Elementary Participation Grant: $200
Brooks Crossing/Deans Elementary Participation Grant: $50
Crossroads North Middle School Participation Grant: $50
Greenbrook Elementary Participation Grant: $50

South Brunswick District schools earned grants for their Physical Education department based on their participation level in the TdSB and FFW.

Since it began grants, in the spring of 2011, the Foundation has provided over $72,000 in Mini and Collaborative grants to teachers and over $41,000 in capital grants to the South Brunswick School District.

We look forward to seeing everyone at the 2019 ride and walk in June 2019!
